Given the shorter time necessary for reaching an equilibrium value with the LW-SAW sensor compared to the SPR sensor, one can assume that the Ka parameter has the significance of an affinity constant for the binding curved obtained within the SPR assays, while the Langmuir-like curve obtained within the LW-SAW measurements was used to build the calibration plot (Figure 7).
