Bottom Line: In the mononuclear title complex, [CuI(C(6)H(8)N(2)S)(C(18)H(15)P)(2)], the Cu(I) ion is in a slightly distorted tetra-hedral coordination geometry formed by two P atoms from two triphenyl-phosphane ligands, one S atom from a 4,6-dimethyl-pyrimidine-2(1H)-thione ligand and one iodide ion. There is an intra-molecular N-H⋯I hydrogen bond.In the crystal, π-π stacking inter-actions [centroid-centroid distance = 3.594 (1) Å] are observed.
