ABSTRACT
In the mononuclear title complex, [Pt(CH(3))Cl(C(25)H(23)N(2)P)], the N-benzyl-N-(diphenyl-phosphanylmeth-yl)pyridin-2-amine functions as a bidentate ligand with the pyridyl N atom and the phosphine P atom chelating the Pt(II) ion, forming a six-membered metallocycle.
