ABSTRACT
The Co(II) atom in the title monomeric Schiff base complex, [CoCl(2)(C(21)H(22)N(2))], is bonded to two Cl atoms and to two N atoms of the Schiff base ligand N,N'-bis-[(E)-3-phenyl-prop-2-en-1-yl-idene]propane-1,3-diamine in a distorted tetra-hedral geometry.
