Fluid Secreting Neoplasm. Schematic Diagram. A "cystic" mass with a "mural nodule" is the classic description for a pilocytic astrocytoma.  This "cystic" and solid morphology is also seen in a variety of fluid secreting neoplasms, including hemangioblastoma, ganglioglioma, and pleomorphic xanthoastrocytoma.
