ABSTRACT

This 8mm dome-shaped papule with central, keratinous plug had been rapidly enlarging over a 4 week period. The lesion was located on the shoulder of an elderly man. The history and lesion morphology were typical for a keratoacanthoma, but the biopsy specimen revealed a clear-cut squamous cell carcinoma, and lacked all the typical features expected of a keratoacanthoma.

No MeSH data available.
