Diagnosis: Spino-Cerebellar Ataxia

History: Age 50: ataxia onset Age 57: inherited neurodegenerative disease First walking aid at age 60, bedridden at age 76. Age 61: Diagnosis: OPCA II (=ADCA II =SCA-7) Last 6 month feeding dependent. No obvious cognitive decline 6 years before her death: No maculopathy After cataract extr: VOD 0.25, VOS: 0.6 Age 77: deceased Duration disease: 27 years Age 71: genetic diagnosis: SCA7 39 CAG repeats Family History: P, PP.
