ABSTRACT

Diagnosis: Incomplete Fracture Proximal Left Femur

History: 72 yo white female with a recent history of fall. Patient now report significant pain in the left hip.

Findings: MR shows "marrow edema" as low signal on T1W and corresponding high signal on the T2W

Ddx: Incomplete Fracuture Stress Fracture/Insufficency fracture Pathologic Fracture

Exam: Pain is unwilling to bear weight on her left leg. Patient has mild to moderate pain with range of motion with exam secondry to pain.
