ABSTRACT

Diagnosis: Tetralogy of Fallot

History: 1 year old male present to the emergency department with cough and fever.

Findings: No consolidation seen. Up-lifting of the left cardiac apex and right sided aortic arch. Slight decrease in pulmonary vascular markings.

Ddx: Tetrology of Fallot Solitary right sided aortic arch Truncus arteriosus Complete Transposition of the Great Arteries

Dxhow: This patient who received the majority of their healthcare at a different institution had known TOF upon presentation.

Exam: Vitals: all within normal limits. Questionable murmur heard during physical exam.

Frontal view of the chest shows no areas of consolidation.  There is a right sided aortic arch with up-lifting of the cardiac apex.
