ABSTRACT

Diagnosis: Hypertrophic pyloric stenosis

History: 3 week old male with 5 days of projectile vomiting.

Findings: Right upper quadrant upper sound demonstrates thickened, elongated pylorus with no opening on real time evaluation.

Ddx: Hypertrophic pyloric stenosis

Dxhow: Surgery

Exam: Lethargic, thin, hispanic boy. Hyperacive bowel sounds. No palpable abdominal masses.
