Image of plate no. 1, facing p. 33, Lith. of Van Benthuysen, Albany, N.Y., representing the described position in which Mrs. Priscilla Budge was found, the extent and character of her wound, and location of bloodstains on the bed and the body. A body dressed in a night gown and covered up to the chest is lying face up with her neck slit open on the right side of a bed in the corner of a room. An open straight razor lies next to her right arm, which is palm up, and her left arm is lying palm down acoss her chest. A wash stand is to the right of the bed with a bowl, candlestick with candle, tumbler, and pitcher on the top.
