There are chairs and beds on the sides of the columned and windowed room with a long narrow table in the middle receding into the distance to a tall door. The running title on page 128 reads: "The trial of William Palmer." The running title on page 129 reads: "Ninth day, May 23, 1856." There is text along the bottom of both pages underneath the engraving.
