ABSTRACT

The central image is rear view of a naked man standing next to a pedestal in a landscape. The man is shown holding a circular plate on which is engraved the rear view of a human head and torso. The figure in the circular plate is labeled 'II', and the different parts of the musculature are labeled with letters as they are in the central figure. There are four other figures (labeled 'III' to 'VI') of various cross-sections of the brain.
