The street contains a church, office building, liquor store, a tenement house, a community school building, and a condemned building. In the distance more buildings are visible. The logos of both the Urban League and the American Red Cross adorn two of the buildings. People walk down the street; two men conduct a drug transaction in front of the tenement building (a sign affixed to the front wall of the building reads "Get crack here"); a prostitute stands in front of the liquor store; a young girl walks into the church. At the bottom of the poster are also the logos of the National AIDS Minority Information/Education Project and the African American HIV/AIDS Program.
