Predominantly yellow poster with red and black lettering. Publisher information in upper left corner. Title at top of poster addresses the concepts of vitamins, food, and illness. Visual images on left side of poster are illustrations of diseases resulting from vitamin deficiency including a child with a blind eye, a man with cramps or spasms in his lower legs (beriberi), a leg and gums beset with sores (scurvy), two infants with deformed legs (rickets), a male-female couple gazing upward toward a baby's face (sterility), and a woman covered with scaly skin (pellagra). Text in center of poster describes the vitamins needed to prevent these diseases. Illustrations on right side of poster depict food groups rich in the specific vitamins.
