Moskva : Narkomzdrava R.S.F.S.R., 1926.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION / EXTENT: 1 print (poster) : lithograph, col. ; 71 x 105 cm.

ABSTRACT

Predominantly red and black poster with white and black lettering. Title at top of poster in Cyrillic script. Dominant visual image is an illustration of a man in tattered clothes running after a green bottle. The man's arms are outstretched toward the bottle, which is surrounded by lines suggesting that the bottle is spinning or flying. Several documents are depicted in the lower portion of the poster. The documents list months and years, with what appear to be monetary figures in the columns. The documents progress from being completely filled in with high numbers, to lower numbers, to being blank. A final document bears a date and a signature. The arrangement suggests a drop in work attendance and income over time, leading to being fired. Publisher information at bottom of poster.
