ABSTRACT

White poster with black lettering. Dominant visual image is an illustration of a house. In the attic, a spider lies with his legs in the air. In the bathroom, a man sits in the bath tub, coughing and smoking, while a woman rifles through the medicine cabinet filled with cough remedies. In the children's room, a girl is collapsed on her rocking horse and a boy leans out the open window, gasping for air. Downstairs, the bird is choking, a large dog wears an oxygen tank and mask, the flowers wilt, and even the cuckoo in the clock seems to be short of breath. At the bottom of the poster, there is a color photo of a hand holding a cigarette. The hand is superimposed on the lower level of the house and the smoke from the cigarette can be traced through the whole house. American Lung Association logo also at bottom of poster.
