ABSTRACT

Comparison: PA lateral views of the chest dated XXXX.

Indication: XXXX-year-old male, XXXX, shortness of breath, question pneumonia.

Findings: Left midlung opacity noted, not visualized on prior. Heart size within normal limits. No pleural effusions. No evidence of pneumothorax. Osseous structures intact.

Impression: Left mid lung opacity noted, most compatible with atelectasis versus infiltrate. Recommend clinical correlation. .

NOTE: The data are drawn from multiple hospital systems.
