ABSTRACT

Comparison: None.

Indication: Preoperative evaluation

Findings: Heart size is upper limits of normal. Aorta is tortuous. There is elevation of the left hemidiaphragm. There is a posterior basilar XXXX opacity seen on lateral XXXX XXXX representing subsegmental atelectasis, XXXX visualized on lateral view. No large pleural effusion or pneumothorax is identified. Scoliosis of the spine.

Impression: 1. Posterior basilar XXXX opacity XXXX representing subsegmental atelectasis. The lungs are otherwise clear.
