ABSTRACT

Comparison: XXXX, XXXX.

Indication: Abdominal pain and distention.

Findings: Frontal and lateral views of the chest show an unchanged cardiomediastinal silhouette. There is bibasal interstitial opacity and left basal platelike opacity XXXX due to discoid atelectasis and/or XXXX scarring. There are emphysematous changes, particularly within the right upper lobe. No XXXX focal airspace consolidation or pleural effusion.

Impression: 1. COPD. Basilar probable pulmonary fibrosis and scarring. 2. No acute cardiac or pulmonary disease process identified.

NOTE: The data are drawn from multiple hospital systems.
